Getting to the hotel after
taking in Kyoto’s sights and sounds
Enjoy the sights in the Gion / Kiyomizudera Temple / Yasaka Shrine area until 3:00 pm, and then take the Keihan line from either Sanjo Keihan Station or Gion Shijo Station to Keihan Yamashina Station. From JR Yamashina Station, take the train to Ogoto Onsen Station. Alternatively, you can take the city bus to Kyoto Station and from Kyoto Station, go to Ogoto Onsen Station.
You can enjoy sightseeing at the shrine until 3:00 pm and then take the JR line from JR Inari Station to Kyoto Station. From there, go to Ogoto Onsen Station.

from Kansai International Airport!
From JR Kansai International Airport Station, take the Haruka special express train to Kyoto Station.
※For sightseeing in Kyoto, please alight at Kyoto Station.
Change trains at Kyoto Station, and alight at Ogoto Onsen Station.
Check-in at around 4 p.m. to be taken to your room for the evening.
Once in your room, you can change into your yukata robe. (In the ryokan, feel free to wear your robe outside your own room as well.)
Guests bathing in the hotel can pick any of these three options: hot springs and open-air spa overlooking Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan; reservation-only outdoor spa (fee applies); or in-room private open-air spa baths.
Also on offer is an open-air bath that you can reserve for use with family and friends. This is particularly recommended for guests from overseas who wish to try an onsen for the first time!
Rooms with private open-air spa baths allow guests to enjoy hot spring bathing with a splendid view of Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan.
We prepare your evening meal between 6 pm and7 pm, at a time that suits you.
Feel free to order sake, beer, and other drinks to complement your meal.(Drinks charged separately)

At a hot-spring ryokan, this is your chance to swap your ordinary morning shower for a refreshing dip in the hot spring—we strongly recommend it! Try it out, and you’ll be refreshed for the whole day!
